In 2003, a relative's home burned down during the San Diego forest fires. She saved her family, dogs, and managed to grab some clothing during their rush to evacuate. Unfortunately, she left all her photographs. Those are memories that can no longer be shared. Your mind preserves them (while you have a memory!!!), but others can't see inside your mind.
